Castings range in sizes from 3g – 50kg in a range of materials including all ferrous and non ferrous, SG Iron, Ductile Iron and special alloys tailored to meet customer’s specific demands.
Powder Metal and MiM are ideally suited to smaller high volume products with fine detail requiring high accuracy and quality, in large batch quantities.
MIM or metal injection moulding is a technology combining the strengths of conventional powder metallurgy and plastic injection moulding.
The Powder Metal process is similar to that of MIM but has the added advantage of being able to produce slightly larger components with thicker sections. Subsequent machining and finishing facilities are available to enable Sparta to supply complete product .
